This will ensure that everyone has the same understanding of the term and that potential projects and initiatives can be classified or identified as such.

This definition should be as specific as possible to ensure a broad understanding of the concept.

Establish a common understanding of Smart City concept for everyone is an essential for the success of the city conversion journey.

Then, the city should review various projects and initiatives that have started by various departments which can be considered "Smart"

In most cases, the city would find many such initiatives (launched or about to be launched).

These initiatives are very important. The city can build on the success that has been already achieved and capitalize on the lesson learned.
